Refund Policy


Effective Date: 17th January, 2025

At Bitwell Tech, we strive to provide you with the best possible experience. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on BitwellBand purchases and pre-orders.

1. Pre-Order Refunds

Before Product Shipment:

  • You may request a refund of your pre-order booking amount (₹499) at any time before the product is shipped.
  • To request a refund, send an email to founders@bitwell.tech with your name and phone number.
  • Our team will call you to confirm your refund request.
  • Once confirmed, the full pre-order amount (₹499) will be refunded within 5 working days.

If Remaining Payment Is Not Completed:

  • If you do not complete the remaining payment (₹5,500 + shipping) when requested before shipping, you will receive an automatic refund of 80% of your pre-order amount (₹399.20).
  • The refund will be processed within 5 working days of the payment deadline.

2. Product Returns and Refunds

Return Eligibility:

You may return the BitwellBand within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • The product must be in the same condition as received, with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
  • The product must not show signs of use, damage, or tampering.
  • Return shipping charges will be borne by the customer.

Faulty or Damaged Products:

  • If you receive a faulty or damaged product, you must report it immediately within 3 hours of delivery.
  • Send an email to founders@bitwell.tech with your order details, name, phone number, and photos/videos of the damage or defect.
  • Our team will verify the issue and provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
  • For verified faulty products, we will cover the return shipping costs.

3. Refund Process

How to Request a Refund:

  1. Send an email to founders@bitwell.tech with the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Phone number used during purchase
    • Order ID or Payment ID
    • Reason for refund
  2. Our customer support team will contact you via phone to verify and confirm your refund request.
  3. Once approved, the refund will be processed within 5 working days.

Refund Amount:

  • Full Refund (100%): Issued if the issue is from our end (faulty product, wrong item shipped, pre-order cancellation before shipment, etc.).
  • Partial Refund (80%): Issued if the return is initiated by the customer for reasons other than product defects (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, etc.).

Refund Method:

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.).

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Products returned after 7 days of delivery.
  • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered by the customer.
  • Products returned without original packaging and accessories.
  • Subscription fees managed through Google Play Store (governed by Google Play's refund policy).

5. Return Shipping

  • For customer-initiated returns (non-defective products), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • For defective or damaged products reported within 3 hours of delivery, Bitwell Tech will cover the return shipping costs.
  • Please use a trackable shipping method and retain proof of shipment until the refund is processed.

6. Processing Time

  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 2-3 business days of receiving your email and confirmation call.
  • Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5 working days.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

7. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you wish to exchange your BitwellBand, please follow the return and refund process, and place a new order once the refund is processed.

8. Cancellations

Before Shipment:

You may cancel your order at any time before the product is shipped by contacting us at founders@bitwell.tech. A full refund will be issued within 5 working days.

After Shipment:

Once the product has been shipped, you cannot cancel the order. However, you may return it within 7 days of delivery as per our return policy.
